Typically, Walters will support an initial product launch with design, prototype, test and QA at its international UK headquarters in High Wycombe, UK. Low to medium volume manufacture can be retained in the UK, but as production requirements increase, a transition to large scale manufacturing in our Chinese facilities can be provided. If necessary, fluctuations in demand for finished product can be buffered by retaining some production in the UK.

High volume production is handled by our assembly and test facilities in Nantong, China, fully supported to the same standards as in the UK. All technical, engineering support and programme management is handled through our base in High Wycombe. As a product is updated or withdrawn from the market, a reverse transition from high volume production in China to end-of-life assembly in the UK can take place.
